Lithuania - Vilnius

Regional Travel Advice
- Winter in Lithuania runs from October to March and if you plan to visit during this period, be prepared. Temperatures can drop to far below freezing (up to minus 25 Celsius/ minus 13 Fahrenheit), accompanied by heavy snowfall and ice. - Visitors to the Curonian Spit (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) should be aware that it is divided between Lithuania and Russia. Take care not to stray into the southern area of the Spit as it is Russian territory.
