- A majority of travellers to Korea will have a thoroughly enjoyable and event-free visit. Although tensions with North Korea can vary, this rarely affects day-to-day life. Visitors are encouraged, however, to monitor the local media for signs of escalating tension and check for any urgent travel warnings to Korea before departure.- Incheon International Airport, from which most international flights arrive and depart, is regularly voted amongst the best in the world. Signage is clear and most passengers will have no difficult navigating through the airport.- Try doing a bit of research on cultural etiquette before your visit. There are a number of social taboos and norms in Korea, e.g. tipping is not widespread and you should never pour a drink for yourself.
